About the Author

Joe Mosher has combined his passion for stories, his fascination with superheroes, and his love for his family to create the Red Cloak Island series of books for middle-grade readers.  He was born in Maine, raised in Connecticut, lived in Georgia and has now settled in Pennsylvania with his wife, three wonderful children, and faithful family dog.

The Red Cloak Island series began with Captain Kissy-Face, written as a Christmas gift for the family, with characters based on each of them.  That was followed by Invisible Max (released in June 2015), whose lead character is based on the author's son.  Additional books are based on the author's daughters, including McStretchy (to be released in August 2015) and Little Miss Thunderhead (tentative title, coming later in 2015.)

In addition to the Red Cloak Island series will be some young adult titles.  Keep an eye on this blog for more to come, as well as writing tips, links and reviews of great books from other authors, excerpts from current and future works, and lots more.  Don't hesitate to leave a comment or ask a question.  Fans, parents, critics, and anyone just casually web-surfing by are always welcome here!
